I'm a bit hesitant to opine for impeachment yet because Trump looks increasingly to be a liability for Repubs in the mid-term elections, whereas if he was successfully impeached and removed from office, a more standard conservative republican administration under equally or more anti-science Pence could conceivably improve the administrations approval ratings for no other reason than to remove a largely incompetent Trump.
And that's even assuming impeachment and subsequent removal from office were successful. If he were impeached, whether or not removed from office, it might even further galvanize the far right under the banner of conspiracy theory that their choice was sidelined by the rest of government.
