>Parents in Zimbabwe who cannot afford school fees can offer livestock such as goats or sheep as payment, a government minister has said.
>It follows a move last week where Zimbabwe allowed people to use their livestock, such as goats, cows and sheep, to back bank loans.
>According to the Bulawayo24 news portal, Zimbabwe's worsening cash crisis means that people frequently spend hours queueing at banks to withdraw cash. The government says the shortage is due to people taking hard currency out of the country, but critics say it's due to lack of investment and rising unemployment, Bulawayo24 says.

>Africans left to their own devices literally revert to a barter economy
An amusing historical vector in my opinion.

That happens everywhere though anon. Don't even know why you equate Zimbabwe with all of Africa? A grudge/hate boner perhaps?
>>134973
>Zimbabwe is all of Africa
Meanwhile countries like Kenya and Ghana are doing better than some European countries

/pol/ needs to go and take your 'no true Scotsman with you'
I find the interesting part of zimbabwe that the government for the most part is useless and there is atleast some order. Barter for goats is the first steps towards making a currency again. The only concern is if the same policy makers hold power they will just kill it again.

It's been the same government in power since the late 70s and even if Mugabe kicks the bucket it won't change much.

>it won't change much
You're wrong. Change is coming to Zimbabwe. People are getting very tired ZANUPF misrule.
