Thing is, the analogy was still relevant. The camps are extremely crowded and only seem to get bigger as refugees migrate. And before WW2's camps became Jew extermination centers, they were holding pens for subversives going back to 1933. I'm sure if we looked further back at the history of other countries, we would find more examples of things like concentration camps, either in purpose or size.

I just pointed out that their complaint of an insulting comparison was not factually unjustified.
I think the people running these refugee camps have more cause for complaint, but I haven't actually visited one so I'm just assuming the haven't installed a crematorium just yet.
