I don't give a flying fuck if she was or wasn't the last person to die, that was from the 19th century (1801 - 1900), and the writer of the article apparently didn't care either. More than likely, the writer was trying to honor her rather than give you an exact list of how many old crotchety fucks are left alive, when they were born, what their favorite butt plug was and other meaningless details that can't represent their character in the slightest.
