I don't really know how this situation should be handled or if we should even intervene. If we look at the past we clearly see that giving financial aid to poor countries fuck them up even worse than how they were, and trying to save them by treating them like children doesn't seem virtuous to me.
It saddens me to say this but maybe we should just let the Chinese seize the opportunity and let Africa deal with their problems with their own solutions.
Even if they fail at surviving we should at least give them the liberty of trying to gain independence. You cannot save people who cannot or refuse to adapt to this changing world.
