Fixie thread?

I want a 1985 Raleigh Racing USA Competition so bad, so I can convert it into a fixie and be just like Kevin Bacon in Quicksilver. He freely admits that it's the worst movie he's been in, and that's saying something.

Question: I finally put the brakes on but I can't get the pads centred no matter what I try. I wiggle it to the middle but after I pull them once it's off centre again. Pic related

Loosen the nut that holds the caliper in place, on the back of the fork. Then center, then tighten.

Centering sidepulls is done by holding the wrench flats on the main fixing assembly in the desired position while you tighten down the main fixing bolt. If your cheap brakes don't have a spot designed to accept a cone wrench, you have to improvise and find some way to grip the entire spring assembly while tightening.

Single speed > fixie in every normal situation.

Fixies are for velodromes or private terrain away from the public road.

I'm working on a black and lime 'Goosebumps' bike; an old Trek.
Gonna spray paint it black, so it's extra obnoxious, get a lime chain and same for the grips. Maybe paint BIKERS BEWARE... on the top tube.
