Hi I'm an electrician and I was wondering if there are any other trades associated people who prefer taking the bus as well. For me I grew up in Los Angeles and always took the bus. I was a math major for a little while in University till I changed over to electrical.
Was it awkward switching to a trade instead of college? I've been thinking about it myself
I'm a woodworker by trade. I take the bus and bike to work. It's an hour commute, 2 times a day, 5 days a week. Always the best part of my day

How the heck to you get your tools to the jobsite?

I don't mind it too bad, I don't have alot of tools just your average stuff. You can either find a good electrical contractor in commercial or construction. Plus I have this Klein bag that was recommended by one of my teachers.

I went the route of city college which has a good Associates program. LATTC has the best electrical program in the state. I was devastated at first because I thought I was a loser but you find good people in the trade all the time. Great teachers but can be weird people. Do not get close to them.

Would a granny wheeled bag be a bad option when taking a bus? But I mean some kind of rugged, utility version like pelican case or something.

This is the one I have, my residential wiring teacher recommends it

I think my teacher owns stock in Klein cuz he says to not use any other tools or bag lol

Yeah that's the type of bag I wanted to recommend. I have no experience with Klein brand but it looks better than the other one, though. Bigger wheels are always better. That other bag looks like it only rolls good on airport floor.
