So a friend of mine is selling his 1983 Honda PA50 II moped. It has pretty much all original parts with an upgraded exhaust installed. It also comes with the original exhaust. The only things it needs are a charge on the battery or new battery(the battery is only used for the lights so that's not even a must for daytime riding), possibly some bulbs for the lights, and he recommends I get new tubes, however the ones on the bike do hold air. His price for me is $400. Should I pull the trigger on this? For reference the main use case would be having something to ride within a 5 mile radius while me or my SO has the car.

literally save 100 more and go to craigslist and go to bicycles and search for electric, save yourself the hassle its 5 mile radius seriously? electric all the way they go like 30+ miles on a charge mine does 50 but i paid 1500
