I'm a messenger in Boston.

I often enter a state of roadlust while working where I become a complete and utter asshole on the street. Just today I came stupidly close to hitting a baby carriage. Wow I'm a jerk.

Got 2 aluminum track bikes made in Taiwan, a Nashbar Terra Alpha 5000 mtb, '85 Fuji League, and a '93 Bridgestone RB-1

It's wicked fun but I have a hard time relaxing. Adrenaline is one of the only things that I truly enjoy.

Started out with some shitty fixed-gear thing, bought a used CX frame that I've been upgrading and have finally reached the ultimate enlightenment that is 90s rigid MTB.

I feel you. I'm normally pretty quiet and reserved but riding puts me into a whole other headspace. Never felt more alive than after a near miss or that sweet, sweet endorphin dump right after an injury.

I used to do martial arts, also used to lift a lot but quit lifting once I started messing full-time since that keeps me in pretty good shape and I ran into some overtraining issues combined with all the cycling.
