Do any of you guys know of any custom frame builders that do track frames, or have had experience working with custom builders? I wanted to buy a LOW, but also wanted to check out others work before committing to a (kind of) custom frame. I'm in the SF Bay Area if that helps for suggestions. But as long as they ship internationally thats an option as well... Thank you.

Go with a Japanese track builder, they may cost a little more or even less sometimes, and will be the best bang for your buck

What's your price range?

Your a faget, what you are thinking of is a fixie not a track bike. Bike weight has zero effect on speed on flat lands apart from acceleration.

check out colossi

if it is custom can't you have the builder paint it whatever color you like? Custom steel will be easier to find than any other material and with a good builder it will be just as fast as any other material.

wow. a steel track bike will still weigh less than 17lbs, build up right. get a kilo tt and put nice components on it

That is because track bikes are inherently light if not using all junk parts because there are significantly fewer parts on it. My aluminum frame track bike is 15 lbs, even with a 2100-2200 g wheelset. If I used the same budget on a road bike with similar frame and wheels, it would probably be 18-19 lbs
I know only european ones bt here goes.

Seven builds custom TI geo, they don't work with Aluminium that I know of..Ti/Steel//Carbon. They'll put track dropouts on any of their builds if you ask.
Low isn't custom Geo, only paint.

konga dose sick stuff.
last time I was looking for a track frame I stumbled upon mielec in german forum.
they said you could get a frame for around 200€ from them and that they did group orders from time to time where the price went down even more so.
that's quite something.
we could come up with a /n/ bike

NAGASAWA!!!!!
Made by one guy for 50 years in the foot Hills of Osaka
Go to Japan and quest for a handmade Japanese steel.
I own one but haven't built it up yet.

have you been around when we've tried to get an /n/ jersey together? Getting a frame done and coordinated would be damn near impossible
