Name a sexier-looking tram than the Dubai tram.
Pro-tip: you can't
>>903805
looks really noice but what do they need a tram for?
and where does it go? from nowhere to nowhere?
>>903807
They opened a tram line because the traffic in the Dubai Marina area was unbearable. According to Wikipedia "it runs for 14.5 kilometers (9.0 mi) along Al Sufouh Road from Dubai Marina to the Burj Al Arab and the Mall of the Emirates"

>a citadis tram with an ugly edgy cab
If you're going to to go for an angular look then do it right (and kill a couple of pedestrians in the process).
>>903829
Dafuq is that? Do you pay the fare with melange spice?
>>903808
>Mall of the Emirates
It's as if they want to emulate the worst of america.
>>903829
this is what happens when you overdo things
>>903832
a russian design concept, nobody ever saw it running, but russians for some reasons love to show it as their industrial success
In all fairness, an aerodynamic design doesn't make too much sense on trams that won't go faster than 60km/h. It's a waste of space, and >>903829
doesn't seem like too bad a design since it remedies that.
>>903845
Gulf arabs have even less class.
>>904016
No idea, frankly.
>>904020
The tram is necessary because the metro stations are 5 km apart and walking isn't an option because the sidewalks are not air-conditioned.
It reminds me of this suburban train in Paris built by Alstom (and Bombarbier).
>>903845
surprise, surprise! arabs have plenty of money but no actual worthwhile culture of their own, so they go about attempting to buy their way into superior western society
>>903805
>>904043
You realize the city is designed to attract rich twits from the West, right? They're building a glorified tourist trap, not Mecca 2.0
>>904020
>Trump tower
ohboi
>>904069
it's actually a decent, progressive city not one of those sjw western cities
>>904070
As in Donald Trump?

pro-tip: this might be a shit thread
>>903995
The japs need to realize that the old track (some of which was built before WW2) needed to be uprooted and replaced. There's just so many shit you could do with the rolling stocks before they too, reached the development limit
>>904559
They don't really have to. In most cases they'll just be shut down and replaced with a bus, monorail or a subway line.
>>904533
Yeah he has a few big developments going on in Dubai, including a fucking golf resort.
>>903805
Boon & Co. Would like a word with you.
>>904066
How many old ones were already replaced by the modern shit in Budapest?
>>903805
France reporting.

No, plenty of this lines are still relevent. They just need to be redeveloped so they could use a proper trams (instead of single car streetcars). Trams can carry more passengers are more reliable in term of punctuality than buses, and subways is not economically viable in low to medium populated cities/townships in Japan

>i understand japan better than the japanese
>everything works just like in muris :DDDD
Find the nearest bridge and jump off of it.

man that look like tron
New South Korean tram.
Unlike conventional trams, this tram is battery-powered, so there's less strain on local electrical grid. Suitable for short-distanced,closed-loop route
