Why is /n/ listed under Japanese Culture?
Because it was originally conceived as a place for people fetishizing Japanese public transportation.

Why do we keep having this thread? Fuck off holy shit.
I don't understand the question.

Double trips, nice

This, dubs are cancer. The only gets that actually mattered were actual gets.
>>888786
You've got three kinds of GET fags:
1. Purists - Only six/seven 0s or 4040404 are considered GETs. Everything else doesn't matter. These fags are living in the past and don't accept the fact that /b/ has over 646 million posts now.
2. Normal GET Fags - Quints or higher on fast-moving boards, sextuplets or higher on slow/dead boards (such as this), palindromes as long as they are seven digits or more on fast-moving boards, eight digits or more on slow/dead boards (such as this). These faggots are so autistic that they made up special rules for the value of a GET.
3. Obsessed GET Fags - Dubs or higher are GETs on any board, singles are GETs if called beforehand. These are the fags you see spamming Bateman images in response to a GET and quoting the post number several times in their reply. Most of these fags are doing it "ironically," but some really have lost their minds.
The whole point of 4chan is to have a conversation with other anons. A GET, especially a rare one, guarantees that somebody will not only see your post, but reply to it. Getting a GET is an excellent way to start a conversation or draw attention to a subject nobody would discuss otherwise. It's how you use GETs that defines you as an individual.

And that's 646 gets. With the posting rate of /b/, gets come around faster than ever. The only amusing thing about gets is it caused a flood of activity and forced memes. It's not supposed to be a normal thing. It's supposed to be an exceptionally rare thing.

never die /n/, never die

Surely a post number consisting of a single digit repeated would be of interest to the purists?
>>889228
>purist
I think a GET "purist" needs a number that ends in all zeroes, is a multiple of a million, or there is an obvious pattern that extends from the first to the last digit, combinations of doubles or other multiples don't count. In other words, you need a straight, not a full house.

if we ever get a /n/ sticky this needs to be the #1 question & answer on it.... :|
>>893234
Go fuck yourself wth this sticky business.
>>893234
Then why wasn't it moved to another category when it was /n/ews?

The front page is a recent mistake, added in late 2007 because having a sidebar and a news page is apparently too web 1.0 for newfags.

That's a train cockpit?
>>892845
That train is literally off the rails.
>>892845
I don't think "The Donald" takes the train.
Did you notice the two references to Trump (Donald and Ivana) in American Psycho?
