In honor of Canada's 150th Anniversary of nationhood (which was in large part due to the construction of a transcontinental railroad), post cool Canadian railroading photos and other material.
Pic related.

Love those C-Liners, btw.
Wasn't the Canadian nation mainly the current province of Ontario?

Nothing cooler than Fairbanks-Morse designed units in CPR colours.
These are very nice pics, anon. I'm familiar with most collections and have to say i've never seen these ones before, nor do I recognize "KGR" which I assume is the photographers initials? Are there any more? And would there be any issues about hosting these at a later date?

The photographer is Richard Yaremko aka "arwye" on trainorders.com
The pics are normally behind a paywall on that site and I've been reposting these without permission but if you became a member there (~$20 per year) and asked him for permission to rehost them he might let you.

Ahh.. I know that name and am aware he has a nice collection. Several of his photos have been published in "The Crow and the Kettle."
Fantastic pics, thanks for passing some of them along here! Feel free to post more. :^)
