I like the horsecar variation. Rails are sexy + horses can pull the cars more easily.

I've heard of that place. It's similar to Greenfield Village in Michigan.

Does that line use horsecars exclusively, or does it use electric trams, also?

At Beamish they use electric trams which are powered by an overhead cable.
