Yo /n/iggas, what royal trai/n/s do you know of?
First one I thought of:
The Japanese Royal Train appears to be the sexiest one currently operating. All other currently operating ones are modest affairs, most likely to avoid criticism over excessive costs to taxpayers.

LNER D16 that was used to take the Queen to Sandringham in Norfolk. Sadly none of them survive but I think there's a project to make a new build one.
>>1084787
Why the strabismus?
>>1084788
I don't see why a new D16 shouldn't be built.
>>1084786
Where was this?
>>1084787
Very sleek looking.
Here is the UK Royal Train today.
Yeah, it still needs an individual locomotive to pull it.

The 1939 visit to Canada.

IIRC it's a train made of of Mk2 & Mk3 stock. Some of the original prototype Mk3 coaches are in that rake.
>>1084941
No doubt.
>>1084939
Ah, if I am not mistaken then that is one of those Canadian National Hudson locomotives, yes?
Such a nice looking locomotive it is.
>>1084787
It looks like a little mouse.
>>1084757
The North Korean one?
>>1084792
Melbourne, Australia
>>1085017
Ah, thanks.
It must have been a royal visit.
>>1084974
The one in my picture is not.
But do you have any pics of Kim's commie express?
>>1084791
Same. Annoying though cos the model they are building is pic relates (D16/2) which is less efficient than the /3 variant. I mean I really want one to be build, it just seems the people planning it don't really seem to know what there doing...
>>1085076
They should research about the D16 or don't make one at all.
>>1085083
Yep. Think it was a bunch of kids that started the idea. Can't knock their enthusiasm but the whole thing seems a bit of a mess. I'd love to be proven wrong though.
>>1085089
That's true.
>>1085046
You can get some images by typing "kim's train" into google image search .. Apparently he have six
>>1085119
This?
Knowing him he probably plans to eat it.
royal monorail

Only if they insert the E655-1 Imperial Carriage into the E655 and put the Flag + Imperial Emblem on the front, otherwise it is technically a regular joyful train (which is rarely used for tours)
http://sonicrailgarden.sakura.ne.jp/seat_e655nagomi.html (the only car missing is the Imperial Carriage since that's probably state secret)
Fun Fact: Any JNR/JR locomotives that were designated to tow Imperial Carriages have stainless steel handles and bars instead of painted ones

In Germany I see?
Not surprising since they have monorail out there.
