What do you /n/egroids think of the 14XXs? Do you like them? Because I sure do.
Who wouldn't like a little 0-6-0 tank locomotive?
>>1080135
The 14XX is not an 0-6-0, infact it's an 0-4-2.
>>1080141
Oh yes, so it is. I'm confusing it with the 15xx
>>1080145
Completely different locomotives, XD.
>>1080131
I think any bicycle is infintely more interesting.
It's a really useful engine.
>>1080198
Then why are you here?
>>1080203
That's Oliver.
>>1080148
Yes. Hence "confused". There was confusion.
>>1080283
I understand.
As a huge fan of both the 14xx and general GWR engines, I appreciate this thread.
>>1081490
Great! I like the GWR stuff too.
So much so that I made this in college two years ago.
>>1081496
Very cool! What course were you studying?
>>1081500
Construction, yet the academic year is soon ending.
>>1081513
I see, are you by chance the anon in the Terrier thread? As I think we've already had this conversation!
>>1081576
Yeah I am, yet I have another 14XX photo to show.
All it needs is a black coat of paint.
>>1081831
Apologies for temporarily abandoning the thread; I hope this 14xx and Autocoach makes up for it!
Those mini train rides are always good fun, although I've only had the pleasure of driving one of them once.
Are you a member of any model engineering societies then anon?
>>1083009
It's ok and it indeed makes up for it.
Sadly the miniature 14XX in my photo wasn't working.
No but I am a member of a model railway club however.
Here's my Hornby 14XX with a mixed traffic train at said model railway club.
Guys honestly if you like trains you will like the movie we're watching, the most epic train adventure I can tell you that, come over and have some fun

Nice thanks anon
>>1083057
That's a shame, any idea what the issue is? I would guess the motor's gone, as that looks to be quite a well used model!
Pic related is from an old film, The Titfield Thunderbolt, which features a 14xx for most of the film. Great movie if you've not seen it.
>>1083093
My Hornby model works just fine and it was second hand from Ebay.
It was the miniature 14XX in BR Green that wasn't working.
Yes I have seen Titfield Thunderbolt and back in 2013 Hornby released a 60th anniversary set.
