Those mini train rides are always good fun, although I've only had the pleasure of driving one of them once.

Sadly the miniature 14XX in my photo wasn't working.
No but I am a member of a model railway club however.
Here's my Hornby 14XX with a mixed traffic train at said model railway club.

That's a shame, any idea what the issue is? I would guess the motor's gone, as that looks to be quite a well used model!
Pic related is from an old film, The Titfield Thunderbolt, which features a 14xx for most of the film. Great movie if you've not seen it.

My Hornby model works just fine and it was second hand from Ebay.
It was the miniature 14XX in BR Green that wasn't working.
Yes I have seen Titfield Thunderbolt and back in 2013 Hornby released a 60th anniversary set.
