So I'm going to be chasing a steam locomotive from Fort Wayne to Joliet and then Joliet to Chicago. Problem is, I'm not familiar with the Joliet area and I'm looking for anyone who can tell me good spots to trainspot.

Does it pass through south bend? If so go hang out there tons of cornfields. Im not familiar with the 765s route up there. Im still waiting for the 587 to not be in moths balls for eternity
