Don't normally post on /n/, but this seems like the best place.
So in about two weeks (we arrive on the 17th) I'm going to be spending a week in Los Angeles, most likely getting most of my rides around Burbank. Does anyone have any opinions on Uber/Lyft in Los Angeles, or in general?
Also, anyone have any info on generally how far off Burbank is from USC? This is my third time in the city, but I haven't been exposed to it enough to actually get a feel of the place.

I've only used lyft, but it'll be a convenient way to get around, especially in an area like Burbank where things tend to be spread out.
Without traffic you could be seeing maybe 20-25 minutes from Burbank to USC. The problem is that there tends to always be traffic, so I would say expect to be in a car for more than an hour. Alternatively, if you are staying near North Hollywood you can take the red line down to union station, then switch to the expo, which goes right through USC.
Safe travels friend.

Sorry, you can transfer from red line to expo at the 7th and Metro station in downtown, which will save some time
