Helmetless BTFO
You wear a helmet to break it.
>>1077415
Explain to me what a cracked helmet proves
>>1077415
>runs into a bear
jesus
>>1077426
proves if you didn't have a helmet the bear would have bitten off your head
>>1077426
They're designed to be destroyed upon impact
>>1077426
The helmet is cracked and his head isn't. Maybe your skull is too dense to process this?
>>1077443
I have a friend whose friend crashed his bike.
>Original friend wanted to keep helmet
>Know the other guy hit his helmet on the car
>Told him it's not worth it
>He tells me it's fine, just one scratch
>Grab his helmet and squeeze the sides a little and it almost completely flattens
>>1077444
>Maybe your skull is too dense to process this
In that case I am too evolved to require a helmet, therefore you are wrong
>>1077761
>tfw too intelligent to not wear a helmet
Would you justify someone becoming a vegetable instead of being put out of their misery?
I would rather be put out fully than be stuck as a burden.
>>1077457
i fell twice on my head the helmet has some marks on the plastic shell but the foam is not soft or compressed at all. i just keep using it.
>>1078073
Did you read the story?
Wearing a helmet is socially unacceptable here unless you're riding a road bike or MTB. Also quite unnecessary and not mandatory since accidents rarely happen.
>>1077426
With one you look like a fag, thus bears will attack you
>>1078196
>unless you're riding a road bike
What else would you be riding?
>MTB
Those are for DUI dirtbags, not real people who commute.
>>1078196
>Wearing a helmet is socially unacceptable
rofl
this is some prime grade funny shit man.
>>1078346
>wat are different cultures
Try sperging about helmet use in Denmark some time and we'll see what happens. You'll rightly be seen as ... a bit """excentric""".
is helmetless culture actually a thing?
>>1078438
it was 20 years ago
Helmetless adults are manchildren who haven't grown out of their ITS NOT COOL TO WEAR A HELMET SO IM NOT WEARING ONE child phase.
>>1078196
Oh no someone might snigger at me
>>1078196
>accidents rarely happen
Enjoy being a 5mph MUP casual who never goes remotely near cagers
>pic related
>>1078073
That's why you have a living will.
>>1078348
I guess being normal would make you stand out in Denmark :-P
>>1078196
>road bike or MTB
There are other bikes?
>>1077415
So all the niggas whom say
> If I wasn't wearing a helmet during incident X, I would have died!
Did they go back and test that or are they just guessing?
>>1083993
Well you can't say 'well I should have worn a helmet' if you're dead.
>>1083769
>>1077415
Most of you can't ride faster than 12mph on a carbon di2 equipped bike
You need a helmet for that?
/o/ here
Wear your helmets you fags. Guy who wore this had to be wheeled out on our on our wheeled back board
>>1084000
Why don't you try banging your head against a piece of concrete @ 12mph and get back to us ? Also, Worst shitposting tripfag ever.
If you think wearing a helmet is necessary you should be wearing one 24/7. There's a higher chance of dying in the shower or getting hit by a cager while you walk on the sidewalk.
>>1084898
Sieg pls.
>>1084000
>12mph
more like 20 or up to 40 for short periods...
>carbon
Aluminium
>di2
Tourney
>need a helmet for that
Indeed, Aachen is dangerous.
>>1084663
it's not the speed that kills you it's the accel.
>>1077415
I don't ride in the woods so....
Also judging by that profile pic, this guy started wearing a helmet too late.
>>1077415
Well, might finally admit I was wrong. Tried to cross onto the sidewalk from the road and somehow misjudged the height and/or didn't turn enough because I'm not used to narrow tires. Cracked one of the bones in my face close to the right eye and the my left ulna. Will probably wear a helmet for the near future at least when I get better.
>>1086130
What bike were you on?
>>1086130
That sounds like shit luck man and looks super brutal. Glad to see you're already talking about getting back on the bike.
>>1084959
>Accel
Actually deceleration is the killer
>>1086173
Any change of velocity is still acceleration, you mongrel.
The difference between speeding up and slowing down is if the acceleration has a positive or negative value.
>>1086176
almost good, but actually acceleration always have a positive value but the force vector changes direction that's all.
