How does /n/ feel about this movie?
Pretty gay but you don't get a lot of bike movies, so I like to take what I can get.
The story is boring, and it's pretty much just a hipster fixie mess life stroke flick, but it's decently fun enough to enjoy passively.
The black dude who rides gears and fucks the MC's waifu is my favorite character.

>The black dude fucks the MC's waifu
Of course
It's pretty terrible
Alleycats was even worse, but at least it had a good alleycat race scene
>>1072269
super liberal unrealistic plot but it was entertaining. As far as bike movies go it could be worse. Best biking movie of all time is still Rad imho
>>1072269
I'm fucking sure that a kid I saw long time ago on the bike lane watched this movie because he was wearing the exact outfit the protag uses, he even had a really big chain with a lock on his waist. The funny thing was the kid was almost dehydrated because it was hot as fuck and he wore a big messenger backpack.
I saw the movie two years ago and It was ok, I have seen better movies, but it's nice having movies with bikes.
40 year old virgin is still the superior bike movie in my eyes.
>>1072288
It's a funny movie, but it hardly has any biking.
Are you sure you're not thinking of This Is 40?
>>1072289
I haven't seen This is 40.
>>1072269
its a bad cheesy movie, from a movie perspective
and from a bike perspective its hilarious for all the wrong reasons
funniest parts:
the messenger randomly being able to do trials
one of the antagonist messengers uses gears because those are evil
"can't stop, dont want to either"
>>1072270
>take what I can get
why settle for crap when you can have pic related?
>>1072269
its crap
This is a better bicycling movie:
>>1072386
>tfw you would do anything to feel this
>>1072287
you saw joseph gordon-levitt dumbass. you saw them filming and you didn't even know it?
>The funny thing was the kid was almost dehydrated because it was hot as fuck and he wore a big messenger backpack.
shut the fuck up retard. how would you know how hydrated he is? and do you really think a messenger bag makes you sweat enough to dehydrate you?
fuck off
this is best bike moober
>not posting best movie
The best part is you can totally LARP it after watching it because you can get a 70's bike for like $50
>>1072323
>randomly
I remember them mentioning he was a trials rider before he became a fixiefag
For me the dumbest thing was the demonizing of brakes while insisting on wearing a helmet
>>1072476
Ayy I watched this movie while taking an Italian language class and actually enjoyed it.
>>1072644
Duh, it's a classic.
>>1072493
that was beautiful kino, thanks senpai. want moar.
Was that film about Graeme Obree any good?
What about ´´The flying scottsman´´?, my sister saw it and told me to watch it because I like bikes.
What about some docus?
Stars and Watercarriers is pretty great
Imperfection is Perfection is amazing too, it's about framebuilding
Check them out if you can
This movie really shaped me as a person. I saw it at just the right age.
Now that i have become a playwrite , i have working in my spare time on a screenplay for a sequel in which he is able to dump that gold digging bitch and finally MGTOW his own way.

What was that french cartoon about 15 years ago?
>>1073550
triplets of belville?
>>1072269
Basically the Fast and Furious of bicycing, but 1000 times less successful because no one gives a shit about bikes.
>>1072269
Bess mooby eber
Watched again last night because thread reminded me. Pretty gud, solid 3.5/5 but should have come out in 2008/9 to catch maximum fixie hype. Riding scenes through traffic were great, the race vs geared black man was a bit cheesy and crooked cop bad guy was pretty standard baddie. Would watch again in another 2 years for nostalgia

"Hold my log" tier dialog
>>1073034
Just finished watching this, it was pretty cool. Love that 90s atmosphere, everyone is chill as fuck. Hated that cunt with the rigid MTB though, I despise people who ride like that.
Any other docu recs? Preferably about framebuilding or more technical stuff in general
>>1073251
this was great
this one's better
>>1076343
>NYC messengers
>Bacon challenges Fishburne to a race
>they magically teleport to San Francisco
>race up and down the hills and thru Chinatown
>they teleport back
>nobody mentions it
>mfw
>>1076348
still better than premium rush
>>1076350
oh, unquestionably.
