hi /n/ i want to start bike racing but i am wondering what are the fastest colors? i think red+white+black is the fastest but i am wondering what are your suggestions? i want to make sure i have the fastest colors so i can win. thanks.

Yellow is the color of bed-wetters, that's for sure.
Red for speed
Black for aero
White for vibration dampening
Adjust the proportions to your desired ride quality
>>1067366
>this anon knows
just don't combine the three, that's a fred bike
>>1067377
Is bianchi celeste the patrician color or not?
>>1067417
Celeste and yellow is the only patrician option for a Bianchi.
Just celeste is for fags.
>>1067419
Those frames were fucking insane. So responsive. Sometimes too responsive. Shame Bianchi doesn't do that color combo anymore.

>think thats a BMC at first glance
>think nothing of it
>mfw i look again
It depends on your cadence. The colors wavelength and frequency must match with your pedaling.
>>1067911
What if I am a 50-cadence masher? Then what color is best for me?
>inb4 spin faster or you'll fatigue
No I'm not a fat fuck like pic related so I can ride 50 cadence for like 14 hours nonstop and not get tired.
>>1067300
We all know red is the fastest but what is the comfiest? My vote goes to royal blue.
>>1067927
blue does do a good job at that, especially the royal version
need a little yellow for response or you'll feel like a truck
>>1067929
I prefer irate to yellow for accents.
>>1067931
Orange fucking shit fuck
>>1067920
The wavelength of the color should be a multiple of 50, obviously.
>>1067935
Hmm okay. Thanks!
>>1067920
That is 0,83Hz and for the correct color it has to be multiplied with 10^15 and the Speed constant 2.2, which gives you 796,18nm, so it looks like infra red is the way to go for smashers.
>>1067943
>>infra red
>tfw my bike is colored ultraviolet
>>1067920
I would go with orange on white, also known as the colors of the lean cuisne box. But you have to be true to your heart. Pic possibly related.

Unbleached wool.

I've got a nice blue to purple gradient, front to back
Comfy all over, fast in the rear (because they had to add red to make purple)
Nice bike
Got an old steel road bike that goes from a blue (literally the most generic blue ever if you need more of a description you're probably colorblind) to a hot neon pink.
Is it good?
>>1068070
Depends, if you are on rough roads with potholes and stuff yeah it will be super fast cause rough roads with potholes are old just like the blue pink color scheme, but on a bike path or freshly paved road you'll probably be slow and clunky
>>1068119
Ok. Good thing I'm by, but not in, Chicago so the roads are tolerable, but flawed.
>>1068070
Can we see it? Sounds rad
>>1068379
Not mine, same model and color scheme. Picture doesn't quite get the pink right though.
>>1067964
Hey, they could be vegan doughnuts for all you know.
>>1067419
>Celeste and Yellow
>Not god-tier Celeste, Pink, And Yellow
Absolutely pleb.
you must match. not matching will destroy any speed gains from your color selection! if your socks do not have stitching that matches your secondary color, then may god have mercy on your soul
>>1068383
If you could somehow get the rims and seat to be teal you would be vaporwave
>>1068639
>dat pink
why are modern bikes so boring? It's all black black black and more fucking black.
>>1068729
Only teal rims I can think of that don't involve spray paint would be purefix flip-flop wheelset. Should I make a ss/fixie conversion? I've already got a 17t fixed lying around
>>1069046
>ss/fixie conversion
>>1069051
The fixed gear is set up on an old Chicago schwinn speedster frame with 26" wheels and a suspension fork, both off of a Walmart bike. I'm pretty sure the fixed gear is gonna be the last part in the garbage.
