Hey guys,
I just bought this helmet, wondering if I should have gotten something different.
I'm looking for a mid-range street sport helmet, and I wear glasses.
Still trying to decide between full-face or modular.
I'd go with full face.

These guys will have better advice.
Modular helmets are shit. Having glasses doesn't make wearing a full face helmet any different. Though some full face models don't fit well with glasses due to the way their padding is arranged.

>padding
I tried a Bell revolver and found that to be the case.
I like the HJC fit, I just don't want to shell out $500 for an rpha 11.

Thanks, I'll ask them when they post a new bread.

I don't hate on cyclists wearing helmets but this is going a bit far.

I can tell you from experience that you should get a helmet that is comfortable. And to go for full face helmet. If you have glasses it does narrow your options some but doesn't make it that hard to find something that fits. Go around the local bike shops and try out different helmets until you find something that fits your head.

So its worth the $80 restock fee to return this one?

If it fits you and you like it then there's no harm in using it. It probably is more noisy than a similar full face helmet though.

Just how noisy is noisy? how much does one of those chin curtain thingies work?

The noise level heavily depends on the helmet. Almost always similar full face helmet is quieter than modular one. And a lot depends on your bike also. Some bikes are really quiet and eliminate wind noise almost completely while others can be really noisy. I wear earplugs whenever riding involves anything faster than city speeds no matter how quiet the bike and helmet are.
The chin curtain thingies certainly work and I have one on all of my helmets. Their downside is that on really hot weather they're not that great.
