What's your walk score, /n/?
https://www.walkscore.com/
I live in a suburban hellscape where humans are not the dominant species.
Their estimates aren't quite right for my area because the computer doesn't recognize that I live very close to a large "open space" park that can be biked through easily to access retail and a broader network of bike infra, but the walk score is actually much too high because the majority of destinations they count on the map are actually at least 10 minutes away in practice because walking to them means waiting for a crossing signal at a major intersection with long wait times for pedestrians.
This thing is not supported outside US/CA/AU/NZ

humm so it can still provide estimate for rest of the world

I wish I lived downtown too but living within 5-10 minutes of STC and being one of the few people that benefit from the subway extension over an LRT helps
>tfw no culture or entertainment in Scarberia
Be jealous, my friends
It's okay.
My city is not supported but it get 100 for walkability
Edge of suburbia.
Could be worse I guess, but I was a little surprised at the bike score
When will the cages be converted to coral reefs so I can improve my bike score?

Jersey City has a LOT of transit but the issue is biking here is hell (We did just get citibike), because while there are bike lanes, these roads are 1-2 lanes (or 2 lanes tops), and they were meant for model Ts and horse wagons, (and the streetcar that got ripped up in the heights and replaced by normal busses and mexican busses)

>house on top of steep hill
>frequently walk ~20 minutes to nearby store or park
Also it thinks it would take 10 minutes to drive into town - it's a 5 minute drive. Thinks it takes over 1 hour with no traffic to get to work - takes 45 minutes in heavy traffic.
This site is shit.
>checks for paris , france
>score of 100 in walkability
>states further down "this country is not supported by our services"
well okay then..
You guys are suckers, I've got a car and can rapidly go anywhere.

How wide are the car lanes in your rooms?

The "servuce" there refer to finding high walkability apartment

Where do you live, the moon?

that was at my parents house which is by a lake about 5 minutes out of town. There's a bus service near me but it is at least a half hour walk to the stop and the hours are shit.
pic related is at my apartment

Those weird unofficial mexican buses in the heights are a trip. Everyone seems to know how they work but there are no signs and literally zero documentation. It's like visiting a third world country.
lmao
>groceries
I guess that doesn't take into account hills, unlit sidewalks, or by far the worst grocery store I've ever seen (most perishables are expired including meat, half the sealed packages of things have the seal broken and part of it eaten, most of the shelves are empty and they're out of really basic stuff like any form of bread, a bunch of things that should be being stocked left in the aisles so it's physically impossible to even see what's behind them with no sign of any employee since the last time I was there - I've always gone wherever's cheapest and don't have anywhere near high standards, and this is part of a big chain I've used other places) being the only one in a multiple hour walking range.

I don't know why they didn't give a transit score - there are a ton of buses nearby including major ones with really short headways and express routes, do they only count rapid transit for that one?

Manhattan
Type in random towns in Germany. All score 90 or better. Entire nation seems to be a walkers paradise.
I got a 13. Fucking Texas.

None of that matters anymore since it's a pisslamic shithole now.

Surprisingly shitty, considering I live six minutes from the nearest light rail platform and four minutes from the next bus stop. I guess that's the part where the site doesn't support my country.

I do live in one of the most effay cities in the world after all, even if I'm in shitty ass scarberia where there's only an h&m :(
Could have fooled me.
I don't own a car and happily bike everywhere.
It's only ~10 minutes to downtown/businesses.
>>1061412
it is walk score not bike score for a reason

My address isn't technically in the legal limits of the city, so it's probably that.
