What's a good first car for someone in the US who just got their license?
Currently thinking a used 2011 or more recent Camry or Corolla might be a good idea, I've got a budget of about $14k.

Don't spend all that good money on your first car. Pay $5k for something like a Corolla, leaving $2k for repairs/service in the next year or two.
After you crash it or give it enough bumps and scratches to learn, use the rest of your savings to buy the car you want.
