My sister lives on a big city, and there was a time she told me that every month someone jumped into the rails, once she arrived late at work because someone suicided. She said me that a lot of people use to jump from a really high bridge. Some people that knew him at the scene said he was hard of hearing, so he probably never heard us. We were only going like 25 mph, but it looked like it broke every bone in his body. I was on a train in Toronto when a guy opened the train doors while it was running and jumped between cars while going over a bridge. I was in the seats right next to the door so he walked right past me. I couldn't see what state he was in under the train, but he was screaming at the people trying to help for 5 very long minutes and could hear him banging on the bottom of the train for a little while after that. I suspect that his legs got caught under one side and he was too far to reach the other rail so he came to the soul crushing conclusion that he's bleeding out instead of insta-dead

It happened between Broadview and Castle Frank on the bridge so they weren't letting people off the train and we sat there on top of a dead body for 3+ hours while they investigated "how this accident could have occurred"

I think about suicide all the time, but I've also seen plenty of suicides as well. walked through a stairwell where a guy had shot himself in the head with a sawed off the night before, was on the 20th floor and watched a guy jump from the roof into a dumpster, and came home from school one day to see the maintenance man folded in half with his ass touching the back of his head under a violently flapping sheet because storm winds blew him off the roof

Also not a suicide, but there was a highspeed chase in my neighbourhood and a while I was waiting for the bus a maintenance worker got hit by the car clocked at 185 and it looked like he got hit by an RPG. I had noticeable drops of blood on me when I got to where I was going

Hey OP, I was in a similar situation to you a couple of months ago. 24 and felt like life was going nowhere. Each Monday I'd wake up and go to work for the week doing the same kinda shit, wondering why I even bothered, feeling like life was controlled by someone else.

So I took a break, I went travelling for 2 weeks around Europe by myself. Didn't take any phone, or anything that would remind me of life/work. And you know it was incredibly liberating.

I did some walking, drank, ate and everything and didn't speak to anyone for 2 weeks except to ask for something.

I've gone out and bought a new car, fucked a few hookers, been hiking and had a laugh in general pretending like I don't give a fuck about anything. Sometimes I spent time with people, other times alone. But each time putting myself first.

Don't do it Anon, take a break, come see me if you want or I'll take some time off work and we can go travelling.

Not sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing honestly, don't have much emotions for me ex desu.
