Can't yet race with discs. Sexual bike tho

not looking to race, just recreational
Looks okay. Maybe a tad expensive for what it is but i'm used to lower euro prices. The only thing i really dislike is the pressfit BB.
Also something is odd: the brakes are listed as proprietray giant "hydraulic" disc brakes but the shifters are mechanical 105 shifters. Are those hybrid cabe/hydraulic dic brakes like the TRP HYRD? Note that i you must go shimano 105 the mechanical shifters are much better that the bulbous RS-505 equivalent shifters for hydraulic disc brakes.

There's a box that mounts on the front of the stem that the cables go into, the hydraulic hoses that go from that to the calipers. Search Giant Conduct for more info.

I see. Looks like a brilliant idea. All the advantages of hydraulic disc brakes without the mediocre shifters.

there is a wide gap at my bike shop from a $900 trek bike with sora to this bike, seems like for $1315 this is one heck of a deal
