and if so, post your tiny children's bikes / photos of riding your tiny children's bikes.

I think you're just a faggot
Only pic i have of me riding on this computer.
S&M LAF Frame
>>1027675
Love the elbows more than I love the jump height.
>>1027380
I used to ride back in the late 90's, I raced and had a bike shop sponsorship for that but I really just rode whatever was around, trails, street, some skateparks. idk if I could find any pictures of when I was still riding bmx... I clearly remember a pic of my about 15' of the ground on one of the 1st big jumps I ever took. Sadly I have broken way to many bones to continue riding that aggressively.. I turned into a pussy and got myself a road bike.
I knew some guys on Road Fools 18 so they called me to have them show me around Berkeley. First thing of the day they are looking at this rail, which I had done before. Nobody believed me that it would slide so I just cranked at it, landed in a feeble losing 0 speed on the rail, flew off at the kink and landed all the way in the flat and exploded off my bike, they thought I did it on purpose while nobody was even filming and assumed I was just a complete nut. Was too shaken up to get a clip the rest of the day, was super scary even though I wasn't broken.
Here's my childrens bike
I suck at riding though
>>1027888
one with more skills than you, jack.
i ride bmx
sometimes drunk
sometimes with a helmant
i try not to ride in boots
>>1029595
think about when you bust your melon and end up a potato hooked to a machine in a hospital bed. i want you to imagine the look on your mom's face when she tells the doctors to pull the plug.
>>1029675
hey man, you want to wear a helmet, be my guest. but why bother policing others' behavior? you don't care about my well being, you're just a massive control freak.
>This wastoid goes aggro on your babe
How do you respond?
>>1030297
bust some freestyle right back at him
freestyle is the future
Would an entry-level BMX bike make for an interesting commuter to school and back (1 - 2-ish miles)? Even though road bikes are better for paved flatground, I don't like how fragile they can get. Plus, you can't as easily jump curbs or cut through fields on one.
>>1030967
bmx is great for this short ride, every curb is a little jump, you will find tons of things to do little jumps off of and onto, manuals and nose bonks and practice cake ways and anything else you can think of on every commute... then again you are over the age of 15 you ill probably have every girl out there laugh at you.
>>1030982
Girls already laugh at me so I might as well have fun while it happens.
>>1030967
could get a hardtail/dirt jumper style bike as well.
>>1030967
90's mtb. it's not just a meme. you can skip the slicks for finnish weather.
>>1030967
bmx is perfect for 1-2mile commute
>>1029675
idk seems like all the pros I can think of with head injuries (most recent scotty cranmer) were wearing a helmet, maybe it is more about how you ride.
its a cheap wtb but i love it
only pic i have here where im riding it.
>>1027380
i prefer bmx over skateboards any day.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBDwETS_jbw
>>1030967
absolutely. I'd even say you couldn't get a better mean of transportation for the distance you're planning on doing, mostly for the reasons you're invoking
>inb4 15yo
bmx is probably one of the most suitable means of transportation in dense cities, where obstacles/curbs are many and where going 50kmh is often unnecessary, or even dangerous
>>1031320
Hasta aquí siento el olor a caca hermanitu.
>>10313
don't this guy usually ride w/ a helmet? I don't BMX but i love his vids- especially when he MTBs.
>>1027675
I dont get it your front tire is on the side walk but your other tire seems to be riding on the other side of that car?
>>1031375
Do you have no perception of depth?! he is in front of the car, hopping off flat ground.
>>1031321
lol
>>1031368
yeah he does, dugan was, banasewicz as well.
<<neyer wasn't, not sure about mike aitken (doubt it)
Just got this. How'd I do?
>>1031354
la caca va por debajo hace tiempo ya. por arriba no haber olor.
>>1031475
Yeah, very sad Scotty Cranmer injured himself recently. As a child my friend fell really hard, and got brain damage. Personally I just have fun with biking as I'm older, because it's a dangerous funnel when you're always competing really hard with someone else, and you're not going to be able to keep it up into old age anyway, so it's kind of like waiting to get injured badly in my opinion.
>>1032279
Are you trying to actually bmx on it? or just ride of curbs? Because that is not a freestyle frame, its more race oriented. The frame is longer, therefor, harder to pull up, manual, and spin
its pretty garbage to be honest.
of my friends that still ride their bmx bikes into old age
1/2 are alcoholics who dont ride
1/4 try really hard to ride but their bodies are too damaged
1/4 is really good at bmx
>>1032352
The small amount of info I can find on it says it's made for freestyle. Thought it would work for dirt jumps.
>>1032380
>>1032352
it looks like its really old low end freestyle bmx... back then there wasnt much difference between a race bike and freestyle bike, companies were just starting to experiment with frame geometry. Some things that give it away are the old 990 brakes, extra gussets, the cut down handle bars and the 48 spoke wheels..even if they might have been add ons.
>>1032396
oh and if you are going to be dirt jumping say good bye to your 1 piece cranks.. gonna bend them the 1st time you case a jump hrd
>>1032397
okay. do you think freestyle is doable on it?
inspiring

>>1032425
It will be fine for awhile but honestly no bmx will last forever, it will eventually break. Then it's time to by a new one and transfer parts over
>>1032655
Thx
>>1027675
noice.
anybody else do this when you were a youngin?
>We're this far into the thread
>It's still a "freestyle" street thread, no dirt track in sight
>Some goober even described streetshit as "actual bmx", as if it's called Bicycle Motocross for no reason
4chan isn't for underage kids. Please leave.

Bike motocross
So cx then?
I was an 80's bmx rider in the peak days, everyone had a bmx.
I had a white quadangle with white skyways.
So many old times bmx-ers went to to commit suicide, why I just don't know?
Anyone else from those times have a similar thing going on?
>>1033124
Maybe they couldn't bear the joint pain anymore
>>1033124
Who other than mirra has commit suicide?
>>1033061
been doin this since bikes were invented! We got 60's bikes in sometimes with leather straps wrapped around the hubs!
>>1033069
Fuck off
Today Freestyle BMX is just shortened to BMX.
Rather autistic to take acronyms this seriously.
>>1033164
Neil Ruffell.
the curb dogs guy
probably lots more?
>>1033164
randy taylor, however it was never confirmed if it was intentional or an accident
>>1033341
>curb dogs guy
It's definitely weird to watch the goofy 80's-as-hell curb dogs videos knowing that dude killed himself due to a crack addiction..
>>1031475
it's not that it got caved-in, it was that they actually peeled his face back and removed that portion of his skull to relieve pressure from a brain hemorrhage. they're gonna put it back eventually.
gonna be a long time before big scotty there can walk again but he seems to be making progress which is rad.
got this one for 150€. kinda heavy with 12,3 kg (27.2 lbs)
always wanted one for riding from a to b when i was living in the city. it was great!
now that i moved back to the countryside my bike lies disassembled in the shed. but found a nice trail not far away that i want to hit next year.
>>1033061
just for coolness factor or does it acctually has a function? sometimes i saw bikes that had pipe brushes around the hubs
If you're over the age of 20 and you ride BMX it's time to grow up
to my fellows bmx'ers.
wht is the big difference from a 300 bucks entry bmx bike kinda like the cheat we the people, etc.. with a 900 (or something like that) more pro bmx? im talking about street mainly... cause for what ive seen weight isnt really different, maybe 1kg more or less, but thats it.. all of them are heavy... durabilty i supose?
im new to bmx and i dont do any extreme tricks yet.. so i prob will be cool with a 300 bucks bmx right?
do you win soething else besides durability? is it gonna ride better or something ?i can understand that you may roll a little easier cause of hub quality.. but.. is anything really notoriuos? thanks. and sorry for my english. please enlighten me!
>>1027380
I ride a 24" Diamondback Reactor. I'm 5' 10 and don't enjoy the 20 inch bikes anymore. I don't do tricks or anything, but this is a VERY fast and nimble bike. I had to ride at midnight because I wanted to burn off the midnight energy high after Dave Mirra's BMX on the PS1 earlier. I hit a big pile of ice and almost ended up wiping out. My neighbors already think I am weird until they saw me sprinting up the street on this.
>>1035000
no bmx master can clear me this doubt?thooonks
>>1029595
Look, kid. I don't know who you are or what kind of riding you do, but I'm not one to back away from a challenge -- or from danger. You see those professional freeriders hucking backies off 30 foot cliffs on gravity rigs? Yeah, I'm one of those guys. Or the guys riding 100kph in a peloton only centimeters away from other riders, where the slightest mishap would send them flying onto the pavement -- or worse, off the cliff that the road is running alongside? Yeah, I'm one of those guys too. I'm a 3-time downhill world champion and a 5-time Tour De France winner. I also have the 3rd lowest time ever recorded in the Race Across America, the most difficult endurance sport event in world history. Then you little BMX punk kids and fixie hipster faggots come and tell me that I am afraid to take risks? No, fuck that and fuck you. I'm not afraid to take risks, I'm just not an idiot. I'm all for adventure and risk, but there is literally no reason to ride without a helmet or without brakes, ever, under any circumstances (aside from riding brakeless in a velodrome). I hope you get run over by a death cage and die, kiddo.
>>1027773

>You could literally ride a 16" princess bike if your commute is only 2 miles.
I've essentially done this. It was not fun.
About a third of a mile is my limit for riding stupid tiny bike.
Yeah yeah, i know, "HTFU".
>>1035168
HARDEN
THE
FUCK
UP
If you don't ride a 16" princess bike for at least 100km at least once in your life, you are a downtube and need to HARDEN THE FUCK UP
Actually, that's a good idea. Let's do a 100km /n/ group ride in /n/ jerseys on 16" princess bikes. I'd seriously be down to do this.
