How can you tell what year a bike was made?
I have a line on a delta v but they dont know what year it is. As far as I know it has to be a 92 or a 93 to be worth anything.
Its a cheap deal but its also not the classic white color. Were other colors made those years?
If its been repainted is it still worth anything?
Pic very related.
look at the code under the bottom bracket. Heres an example, YF 11 74329 - manufacturer Focus, Year 2011, production number 74329

COLLECTIBLE AS FUCK
>>1012984
Oh shit, I thought they just came in white, that thing is sweeeeeet!
Do you really want to own it though? It's much like owning a Ferrari 250 GTO, it's a car that was built to be driven, but it's collectibility makes it where driving it is just too risky, it's a museum piece. Sure it's cool to take pictures of it and show your friends, maybe a rare Concours D Elegance where you trailer it in, but it's really a sad thing where this masterpiece is just sitting like a paperweight. I'd think about getting something that isn't so collectible

Actually it's not worth much
Bicycle Condition
Like-New $340 - $350
Excellent $324 - $333
Good $295 - $304
Fair $212 - $219
You might get a sucker on eBay to pay more, but OPs pic is clearly banged up as hell.
$175 seems like a fair price
Pic related might go for $600 on ebay
Here is one that sold for less than $1,000 (best offer accepted) despite being tricked out in every possible way

No offense m8 but that is no where near the same bike.
The only reason that one was worth 1000 american is because it looks similar to the DeltaV1000 full suspension.
One is insanely collectible and the other is not.
The one you linked to is a valueless hardtail

That would work for most of the posers here.
They spends tons of money on gear and the bike just sits like it is artwork in thier room.

Mine had a weird orange color that i never again saw on a cannondale. God, I'd pay 38 dollars just to sniff the fucking seat again.

I cannot believe, after over a year of not being on this board, you are still posting that same god awful full suspension and trying to convince anonymous lurkers that it's worth anything more than the scrap value.

You couldn't be more booty blasted if you'd just spent 11 hours on a new Brooks. Maybe you should have bought two at msrp like we all did.

They're not even that valuable. It's just that you could sell it to a collector and buy a better modern bike with the money you got. Like if I had a nice Colnago with Campy SR on it, I could sell it to a collector and buy a nice carbon Fuji with Shimano. That doesn't mean the Colnago is too nice to ride.

You missed a lot of stuff anon

If I ever get my hands on a delta v1000 I will trailer it everywhere.
