Which mode of transport is best mode of transport?
>>
Blimptrain
>>
Probably the most efficient transport are trains, or blimptrains if there are no tunnels.
>>
Intermodal railcar without engine seems a pretty cool guy.

Don't need efficiency when you got horsepower.
>>

You gave us no variables so it's impossible to answer your question.

What's best is totally dependant on for what. A car is the most convenient for most situations and the most versatile. A train station may not be available where you need to go and waiting for a bus or scheduling to use the bus is a waste of time. Some places you can't bike to, a 30 mimute drive could take hours on a bike, perhaps 1 or 2 depending and you'd be all sweaty; if you need to dress formally then this is clearly impossible despite what these /n/iggers say.

I'll give some variables, sub-urbania and last year highschool student.
>>
Canals are the most efficient for goods, bicycles for people. A single dude with a pole and a horse can carry massive load on the canal.

why is north america so comfy? trains in europe feel like toys, especially their freight
>>
>>1011933

They're not quite as developed as us. I mean they still chain together their trains like its the 1800's.

The only advantage of a screw coupling is no slack action due to buffers
