Can we kill the Pasela meme today?

Nashbar 26x1.5"
>60tpi
>Kevlar Tread
>396g

70 grams lighter and $10 cheaper than the Pasela.

Where were you when the Pasela meme died?

And you think they're going to ride as nicely as a Pasela?

I bought them and they ride much faster than Pasela, despite Panaracer's calimed "66 tpi" which I suspect is bullshit Conti-style adding TPI layer lies

Guess it's okay so long as you're just a filthy casual rider, but I wouldn't be descending any mountains, taking the curves as high speed on them, or racing a crit on them.
>>
I don't see how you would compare them.

Why not?

A cheap-ass tire is more likely to fail under stressful conditions than a non-cheap-ass tire. Also a cheap-ass tire is more likely to have low traction where you need it the most (high speed cornering, and technical descents like going down a twisting mountain road). If you 'just ride' and don't ever go very fast then it's probably no problem, but I wouldn't race on a cheap-ass tire.

Skimping on tires is pretty dumb tbqh senpai

I honestly would not go near that tire.

Paselas are good, not mind-blowing but good for the price. I however have had issues with the sidewalls cracking on those.

Honestly, tires are the #1 thing you can change about your bike to affect the ride quality. They matter more than the rims do. Get the actual best tires you can afford because there's no point in spending money on other things if you have shit tires. You couldn't pay me to ride those things, OP.
