Cause we don't just transport ourselves.

Show us your racks, packs, panniers, satchels, suitcases and cargoshorts.

How does /n/ carry cargo?

Anyone use a racktop trunk bag?

What's do you think of it?

I'm considering getting one for general use since my Panniers are larger and caus much more drag than they're worth.

They're crazy expensive in Eastern Europe.
It's like absolutely noone does bike tours here so there's no market for anything other than your usual garbage bag slung over the rack, pic related.

I still would like to access the rack to attach some stuff to it.
Damn.

My meme-mobile, despite the shift towards bikepacking style bags im still a fan of panniers. Ortliebs are fantastic quality, fully waterproof and can be easily made more secure by adding another strap around the pannier and rack, as pictured. The saddle bag is a good idea though, it can easily fit my entire sleep system and other soft bits and bobs.

It's me and my shitass purple bike again.

>>1011579
I'm coming around on some but not others. Small frame bags can carry either a camalbak or snacks but didn't have quite the volume I expected, large frame bags are too frame specific if I'm trying to buy for utility.

I like my small thorax bag since it fits my tent set (minus poles) + a little bit more, one of the larger ones might allow me to kill the panniers but don't work with my brakes.

Front rolls are limited on drop bars(hand positions and shifting nonshitty, nonpurple bikes) gonna try some DIY or compression sacks on the front bars, or anything cages and stuff sacks.

I have an old cannondale racktop bag. I like it mostly for the swag factor, but it's cool. symmetry is cool. rigid bags are cool. high center of gravity is not cool. not being able to easily pull stuff out is not cool.

frame bags, "bikepacking" and the like are packing stuff that you'd define as "support gear", but not handy for anything else.
the typical solution with bikepacking are either having 12 different strap on bags, or packing things into an oddly shaped bag in such a way that nothing is easily retrievable. again, with the huge hit to higher center of gravity and funky weight distribution.

>>
>>1011751
40cm on both if I measured right. The sleeping bag fits with my ghetto bungee straps but I couldn't get my 4 day clothing bag to compress enough.
>>
>>1011828
hum... that's not particularly wide
i was expecting mtb wide like 60cm
