I got fucking addicted to speed up every song i like to change its pitch, its like new
experience it sounds like u never heard most known songs

I always x2 speed up my music after downloading it. Now I can listen to ×2 the music.
I did this since I was a kid, without the speeding up though. The chord progressions feel "fresh" when pitch shifted.

to me its quite unlistenable at that speed up changing pitch (not changing tempo) by x1.05 or x1,1

thats the point anon
I tried that with Loveless one, it was sick

i really enjoy this but vocals sound bad to me, especially when pitch is raised
The trick is to pitch everything down an octave, everything sounds better.
Also changing the pitch by a few semitones can really make a difference when listening to something you are working on for hours, makes it sound like a new song so you can appreciate it again.

Oh nice I'm not the only one. It really helps me to notice if a particularly difficult chord change works.

my mp3 player can do this in real time
protip: slow down "brother" by stuck in the sound, sounds like time slows down and everything will be destroyed

Same, but I prefer lowering the pitch of songs. I'll try several different key changes and usually one will really stick out.
