She barely affords clothes.
Jeff Mangum toured for a while in '98 without an A string because he couldn't afford it.
Only jews push the idea that you need to drop 1000 bucks on a brand name guitar in order to play good
Kurt played an Epiphone
Japanese FG180s are great guitars, the fact that they're cheap only makes them better

I find this hard to believe, guitar strings aren't that expensive.

>Possibly around the country? Cost of food, gas, etc.
>Can't afford the literally like $10-20 bucks for some strings
>For your main job where you play a guitar
I'm gonna have to call bullshit, Captain.
How do you know it's cheap? Yamaha make good guitars.

Everyone knew it was bs annon, no one wanted to embarrass him

It was def a Yamaha FG180, which is currently discontinued. From what I believe it was a budget guitar for beginners back before our day.

Epiphones were good back then retard.

What's priority, a single string when you play basic chords, or food and gas? Reminder that there are sets that bands do which they make no money from.

>Thinks a 60s possibly 50s era Epiphone is cheap...

I have FG180 that's about 50 years old. Bought it after playing a bunch of way more expensive Martins, Gibsons, etc. and knowing nothing about it, but was impressed with how good it sounded and played in comparison despite being at least a grand cheaper than the big name brands.
Sincerely then I've learned they have a great reputation as an excellent D-18 copy. It's not a "beginner" guitar with the usual shoddy workmanship issues, but it was mass produced to be affordable. But I've talked to old timers that gigged with them as a backup for their Martin and felt they were close equals.

They were still considered lower quality you clown. Everyone knows the Beatles were poor-boys back in the tavern days

Yeah they must have been really poor when they first got their Casinos in FUCKING 1966 WHEN THEY WERE WORLD FAMOUS SUPER STARS.
Epiphones were not considered lower quality back then. You sincerely don't know what you're talking about.

This. They also weren't really budget guitars back in the day. They were obviously cheaper than Martins, but they had a good reputation, and a number of pretty famous people used them, including John Martyn, John Denver, and Paul Brady.
It's a shame that many of them nearing the point where they need an unreasonably expensive neck reset to stay playable, though. I've played two or three and they sounded pretty amazing, but I couldn't buy them because they obviously didn't have much time left.

yea because the niggerlover played it
