How about a question:
>if you ever had the chance to show your music to your idol, be it your favourite artist or anyone else, who would it be, which album would you show and do you think he'd like it?

I don't think showing it to any of my favourite artists would be a good idea. Take those who would even appreciate noisy music, Masami Akita doesn't listen to noise besides the stuff he makes, he just hates it.

I would be way too intimidated to show the BoC brothers my music, but if I had to I would probably show them pic related since they might enjoy the aesthetic.

Also I have 80 CDs of t-Projection someone please take one off my hands I swear it's a fun and engaging listen the tracks are short which helps.

whats black midi? and why I never heard of that genre
>>
>>75191451
Black midi is when people cover pop songs/japanese game soundtracks using millions of MIDI notes and post videos of piano teaching programs playing them. Black and White isn't quite on that scale, but it's a poppy album with instrumentals made entirely of MIDI piano.

Defiantly comfy, but I wouldn't really call it great. It sounds like something you'd find on a Spotify playlist for "indie teens" listen to for 30 seconds, and then eventually skip. You're production quality is too notch tho, I commend you for that. Your voice gets a bit lost in the mix sometimes but it's nothing to bad. I would recommend a bit of experimenting with your style, aim for something a bit different
>>
>>75189491
Not gonna lie I'm not a huge fan of this, defiantly. Not as good as your last release. You've made the songs much chipper this time around, and while I like the idea of keeping this songs close knit with the chops, it makes the album very jarring to listen to. Makes them kinda mush together as well.
I know you're capable of better man, keep it up!

>>
>>75192311
Interesting you mention that, it seems that when I focus on just sonic experimentation instead of emotion and atmosphere the music always inadvertently ends up really chipper. One of the albums I'm working on is a purely cerebral electronic sound design IDM thing and it has a similar mood.

What's your bandcamp I wanna return feedback

Heeeey this was better than I expected. Usually don't get into this aesthetic but this is nice, the sound effects are kind of cheesy though.

I like this a lot, is this all samples? They blend together really well.
>>
>>75193698
First is all sample while I manipulated the noise live, second and fourth is all sample, third track has no samples and is just a bunch o synths

Glad you liked it :)
>>
>>75193908
Yeah that's good too, the album is really beautiful overall.
>>
>>75189129
I really enjoy the distortion on these tracks, they make the songs feel warm, and the overall production is just nice. I'm a big fan of muffled vocals, and you do it nicely.

>>75189178
Oh this is cool! I didn't expect it to be so pretty and melodic, sometimes the glitch sounds get annoying, but besides that I really enjoy the atmosphere you create.

>>75189257
Same thing as above, except yours feels a lot more experimental. I enjoy the second track most of all, especially the lo-fi-ness of it, reminds me of the intro to Klymaxx by Com Truise.

>>75189491
I was thrown off by the way the first track started, and I think the loop is too short and simple to warrant being repeated as much it is. Other than that, I like how gradually add on new ideas, which made for an enjoyable album.

>>75189617
This is one of my favorites in the thread by far. Sometimes I feel like the lyrics are pretty miss but there's such a catchiness to the instruments that I don't mind.

>>75190702
This whole thing seems kinda overdone at this point. I can appreciate that it sounds nice, sorta, but it gives off the distinct quality of being made for the shit of it.

>>75191451
I've actually listened to your stuff in the past, believe it or not. I think I found it while browsing random pages. I liked it then, and I like it now. It's good music for falling asleep to.

>>75191837
Possibly the worst thing I've heard in this thread. Sounds like you recorded this on a computer, then recorded the recording using your phone. Not a big fan of this.

>>75192039
Big big fan of this! Listening to your most recent album is something pretty entrancing, and the balance of noise to soft is handled pretty damn excellently, my guy.

>>75192171
I like the spoken word poetry. Is that you speaking or is it a sample? Not a lot of people can actually read poetry out loud in a way that sounds good musicaly, and you can. I also just like the instrumental, but the lyrics and deliver are the real highlights

If I had a chance to speak to Kevin Shields, I would ask him what I can do to get my production to sound like his in 'Loveless' or ask him to be a producer for my songs. I don't know if he'll like it, though.
>>
>>75194342
that art is my aesthetic
pretty good music too
>>
>>75192215
I don't really know what to make of this, the intro to each song is very cool but then it feels like they all deteriorate towards the end. I like the ideas and sounds and motifs, but they just don't hit the mark for me.

>>75192352
The tremolos in the beginning of the first track really irritated me after a while, but the ambience and chimes? that picked up shortly made it much more enjoyable, after I got over that, I really enjoyed the project.

>>75192382
I mentioned Com Truise previously, but this definitely reminds me of him. Have you ever played Hotline Miami, Anon? This would fit perfectly in that game.

>>75193431
One of the most emotive electronic albums I've heard in a while. I specifically like the way the drums sound on the first track. I'll be keeping up with your releases from here on out.

You guys are all doing great, keep up the good work!
