I think that this kind of bands are bad because they make music to act in stage. In the case of RHCP they make music to act like they are weird and all crazy and, therefore, their music become an accompaniment to their act. Wich I mean is: it's not music for itself, it's music meant to be played with some guys acting weird and that, for me, is boring and pretentious as fuck.
