Can someone explain the reason there's so much Peasant on /mu/? Didn't listen to the whole album, but the singles I've heard sounded like generic cheesy folk, is there something I'm missing?

I just love Sparks and Hippopotamus is exactly what I want out of a Sparks album- fun, energetic, ridiculous, and these dudes are pushing into their 70s, still pumping out tunes that can rival ones from their heyday

I guess I don't really understand the question. There aren't really many other bands out there that sound like Sparks.

Priests, King Gizz x Mild High, and Paramore are my top 3 desu
