Not the greatest album of all time, still a pop masterpiece. It's catchy, fast, energetic and fun music, the great production made simple guitar riffs sound epic, Mark and Tom have a great ear for melody and Travis adds groove instead of a straightfoward punk percussion. It's simple music for the masses, and you have to be cynical to not enjoy its "feelgood" tone . Lyrics don't really matter but everyone sings along to them. Blink 182 had every potential for being the next Beatles and I still don't know what went wrong. Still I'm amused by critics and haters who will never understand the genius behind the band blending punk and pop in songs that just feel and sound awesome, and proves that you don't need a lot of talent to make a great pop record, just a good ear for melody and catchy tunes and blink were the best at it.
