I don't what there's to be disappointed about really, it's just a "standard" Maus release.
Might not have the peaks of We Must Become... but it's still really consistent, possibly his most so.
I'd like to think he'll take a different direction on the box set exclusive album, excited to see how that one turns out.

It feels like if you took a "standard" Maus release and took out the non-filler tracks. Overall, much weaker instrumentation than his previous works imo (with the exception of The Combine)

Really I was hoping for more than an a collection of tracks where the lyrics consist of the title being repeated over and over, and I'm sure someone will argue that that's his whole /thing/ but I don't agree
