A simple song by song comparison is devastatingly in favor of 2pac.

Production and instrumentals alone put him lightyears beyond Biggie. The bass on Seven Day Theory alone fucking destroys every Biggie instrumental. 2pac was also much better at high bpm tracks. He didn't have as groovy of tracks as the few Biggie ones. But he had far more good tracks, better vocal timbre, and more good albums. The production of Biggies early stuff is genuinely cacophonous. I cannot listen to Big Pappa.

Nah, Biggie's a generic studio gangsta with a great flow, nothing more really. I don't particularly care for Pac anymore since I'm older and more educated than he was when he died, but when I was younger and around the same age it was good, a lot better than Biggie, because Pac had something to say. The reason they do this is because they want to make money, leave the ghetto, and have a lot to write about since it's much of their lives up to that point.
