I happen to live in the town where Muse came from, it's some tiny seaside town with fuck all going for it. Literally everyone here is obsessed with Muse because it's proof that someone born here has actually achieved something in life. Every shop, pub and tourist trap has a Muse poster or album on the wall. I can't take them seriously because of that.

I have never heard Ryo Fukui, like trip hop sometimes, listen to other styles of metal sometimes, and feel that John Cage is decent but still overrated, but otherwise completely agree.
