How many of you manage to enjoy albums in a language other than your native one (besides English of course)?
Pic related, amazing album but it's completely in italian.
I like it. the music has to be interesting though, obviously. I listen for the emotion and tone is the vocals etc.
These are two that come to mind. I don't speak German or Italian but know some words.

Didn't know these ones before, thanks
I actually love discovering nice music from other countries. I don't really care about lyrics altogether so it doesn't bother me.

It usually irks me slightly because I can't really sing along to it or understand the lyrics, but I can enjoy it anyway.
many russian punk/experimental records from 80's and 90's
Good music is good music, no matter what country it's from.

I've recently had a phase with Cambodian / Khmer music, not sure why because usually I listen to barely any foreign music.

I can only listen to foreign music now because all lyrics make me cringe. But if I don't know what they're saying it's ok.

Didn't think I'd ever see Battisti in the OP on /mu/. Not even Italian
