start here
Black Sabbath: first 7 album
Judas Priest: everything up to Painkiller, maybe skip Point of Entry and Turbo if you want to.
Motorhead: start with Overkill and listen to the next 7-8 albums
Iron Maiden: first 7 album, listen to Fear of the Dark too if you want
Satan: Court in the Act
Angel Witch: Angel Witch
Accept: Restless and Wild and Balls to the Wall
Mercyful Fate and King Diamond: first 5 albums
Rainbow: first 3 albums
Deep Purple: first 5 albums
Dio: Holy Diver
Riot: Fire Down Under and Thundersteel
and then either explore the traditional heavy metal some more or move to other subgenres like power, doom, thrash, black and death (I listed them in terms of accessibility)

First 4 Mastodon records helped me get into it. Really good yet easy on the ears. Also the vocals are understated and not that harsh so it should help ease you into harsh vocals.
