I love their stuff. I'm a huge fan but I Dunno if I'd call myself a deadhead since deadheads usually have favorite performances of songs and can name dates really well

Same here.
I saw every show in my area from 1988-95.
I don't consider myself a "Dead Head" either, but I had fun at all their shows. I even like their early stuff, especially the stuff with Pig Pen. Their first album, and the Warlocks' demo is a close to garage punk as they got. I even like some of the later psychedelic stuff, when I'm in the piper mood, but Like I said, they were at their best when they were starting out. I'm still into punk, and am planning to attend some of the Riot-Fest after parties with the likes of G.B.H. and The Buzzcocks. (That is if I can figure out how to find my way around town)

drums and space were amazing, the vibe was amazing, the fact that the setlist would change every night was great, help>slipknot>franklin, scarlet>fire, terrapin, darkstar were all things we looked forward to, Phil's sound was great...

I'd give anything to go back to 1974 to hear the Wall of Sound though

...s tripping at 95% of all these shows (there was one show where i couldn't score but in general it wasn't hard to find acid and/or shrooms, but mainly acid.. sometimes the hardest part was buying acid in small quantities because the guys who had it wanted to deal it by sheet)

If you are looking for "Deadheads" why don't you go to a forum about that? You don't have to ask anything there and you can say all the great thing that you want about the band that you love so much.
