I'm going to an auction tonight and they have a listing for a guitar. Was wondering how much ya'll think it's worth. It's listed simply as "Harmony guitar with case"
Headstock.
No other pictures were posted, just these 2.

It's worth like $150

That's what I was thinking, depending on play-ability probably won't bid over $125

It doesn't sound too bad.
cheap shitty guitar that's become overpriced recently because it's a cheap shitty VINTAGE guitar.
they're fun to play, but not worth what they're go for right now. i wouldn't pay more than $100 for it, and even that feels steep.
does anyone even buy archtop acoustic guitars today?
>>75114480
I think they're pretty rare nowadays desu

what? acoustic archtops are more popular than they have been in a long time. epiphone is reissuing a whole line of them, plus companies like gretsch, the loar and godin.
this is hot shit for indie folk dicks rights now.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i stand corrected then i honestly don't play enough acoustic to know
>>75117020
no worries, only reason i replied was because of the "rare" comment someone made
these are super common in secondhand instrument shops and pawn shops, especially compared to others guitars of the same era

This. When I started playing (about 15 years ago, so not that long), pawn shops were full of old Harmonies like this for around $50 each, and that's still what I think they're worth, except for the sovereign models that were built much better; Jimmy Page has driven up the prices on those to stupid levels, too.
OP, make sure you can check the guitar out before offering any money. Harmonies were cheap guitars that weren't built particularly well, so all kinds of things could be wrong with the glue joints and neck. These things don't have adjustable truss rods and often need neck resets; any repair the guitar will need will cost more than it's worth. But if it's in good shape and goes for around $100, go for it.

$150 sounds about right, keep in mind the action on these is commonly fucked up and non adjustable so play before you buy if you can

action is super high, i'm not bidding on it. thx for the input tho!
