Did this guy go downhill after Kiss Land?
Also favorite Weeknd song
well he has never had a good album
the hills is the only worthwhile thing he's done

What about his early mixtapes

you faggots are fucking deaf
>>75113667
yes without question
during his mixtape/kiss land days he clearly was trying to honestly make music that he thought was artful, interesting and emotional
then when kiss land flopped i guess he got all cynical and interested in the $$$$
i refuse to believe that a single moment from Starboy was at all honest self expression, as opposed to just scheming to make good money, planning out a product and trying to make a distinct aesthetic in attempt to become an "icon" (which he will never achieve now that he isnt doing what made him unique)

Nah
Exactly. Up until Kissland he wasn't afraid to experiment on the genre, and some of the older tracks, particularly in the mixtapes, are proof of that. Everything after is plain money grabbing, radio friendly top 40 hits

glass tables thursday and heaven or las vegas, he went downhill immediately after the trilogy
Trilogy mixtapes are the greatest of all time.

Yes and Montreal.
house of balloons is the only work of his I enjoyed
King of the Fall is his best imo
>>75113667
Trilogy >> Beauty Behind the Madness > Starboy >>>>> Kiss Land
>>75113667
Yes. Rose, Doc & ill did the best job with him. Although house of Baloons is his best output, I like The Knowing but rolling Stone just edges it out.
I think I would go with Twenty Eight
