Are any of his albums good? I remember liking his Loser song when I was a teenager
Yes. Mellow Gold, Guero, Sea Change, and Odelay are all good.
Yes, but which ones you'll like depends a lot on your taste. Loser's on Mellow Gold, so you might like that, but a lot of it is pretty "brown" compared to Loser, if you know what I mean
>go see Beck on Midnight Vultures tour
>hyped to see Beck do funk a la Prince
>D'Angelo opens
and that's how Beck got ruined for me

Every Beck album is worth a listen, they tend to be very different from one another, but they all have good stuff.

/mu/ never changes.
only the sea does.
Early Beck stuff is alright, it gets pretty brown too. Now he's just top 40-esque pop. Odelay and Mellow Gold are really good.
My personal favorite is The Information, but it's a very sleek and electronic album, whereas Mellow Gold is Wi-Fi. I recommend Odelay though, because it's in the same vein as Mellow Gold, but is better imo.

you are literally me with your taste in Beck

This, but Sea Change would be my favourite if I had one. Haven't listened to his work in awhile though.

Definitely gotten the that top40s vibe from him lately, but I don't want to knock him too much as change in style has been a recurring motif in his career.
Golden Feelings - 6/10
Mellow Gold - 9/10
Stereopathetic Soulmanure - 7/10
One Foot in The Grave - 10/10 especially with all the bonus tracks)
Odelay - 7/10
Mutations - 9/10
Midnite Vultures - 8/10
Sea Change - 8/10
Guero - 7/10
The Information - 5/10 (never got why people love this one so much)
Modern Guilt - 9/10
Morning Phase - 6/10
One Foot In The Grave is genuinely one of the best krecs albums of all time, but it's slept on because he's too popular or whatever
