One random Wednesday night, I get a phone call from Tennessee that will forever change my life. This call was to invite me to a secret Taylor Swift event...in 3 days! So my mom and I packed up the car and headed down to Nashville. Once there, all 89 of us (hand picked by Taylor) were transported to a second location where we hung out in the backyard and ate some delicious food! After about an hour, we were lead into the living room where there were a ton of blankets and comfy pillows on the floor were we all sat and all of a sudden who walks down the steps? Taylor Swift!! We all screamed and went crazy, then confirmed it was Taylor and not Becky. Taylor said, “Becky is dead. Let’s have a moment of silence for Becky.” Then Taylor explained that she was going to play her new 1989 album for us! Now, I can’t say anything about the album except that is it absolutely fantastic! After we listened to half of the album, we took an intermission and Taylor said, “I’ll be right back, I have to go get something.” She came back with Olivia! I even got to hold her! She is so sweet and adorable. Then Taylor brought out some snacks that she made for us the day before! She made chai sugar cookies with cinnamon eggnog icing, dark chocolate peppermint cookies, and heart shaped rice crispy treats! All soo delicious! Then she took Olivia and sat down on the couch right in front of me and I told her my cat has a huge crush on Olivia and Taylor said, “Oh yeah! Online dating!” Then we went back and listened to the rest of the album. Once we listened to everything we had a massage dance party to “Shake It Off,” where Taylor danced with me THE WHOLE TIME! While we were dancing she said, “Do you feel the floor shaking?” (Which it was shaking like crazy) And we all said YES! And she said, “It’s an old house.”

Once we finished with our amazing dance party, we went back outside for some refreshments and waited till it was our turn to take an individual picture with Taylor. While we waited we got to talk to Andrea, Scott, and some other people in Taylor’s team. We also got to meet Scott’s dogs, Baby and Bug.

When it was almost my turn to talk to Taylor (2 people in front of me) I started crying like crazy. (I had held it together pretty good before this) When I went up to Taylor I said, “I’m sorry, I never cry like this,” and she said, “It’s fine! Your so beautiful!” And I said, “I have to tell you its my birthday next week and this is the most amazing thing that could ever happen,” and she said, “It’s your birthday next week!!? Happy Birthday! What are you going to do?!” And I said, “Just hang out with my family,” and she said, “That is so awesome.” Then we took our picture together hugging and then she gave me on last hug before I left and thanked me for coming.

After the picture, we all got gift bags with some amazing 1989 merchandise and got back on the buses to head back. It was the best day of my life and I wish I could relive it everyday.

Who could hate Tay Tay?
She called up a 12 year old fan who was dying of cancer and spoke to her for like ten minutes. She got on The Ellen Show and sang and danced Shake It Off with an eight year old fan.

Lord, please forgive me for the lust in my heart. I know how much I struggle with it.

Honestly, Lord, I just wish I could be back in high school with Hayley and go on a nice, cute date to the lake, holding hands, throwing some bread at the ducks while making her laugh, then go for a ride at the local roller coaster, the ferris wheel and the bumper cars, then after the sun sets and the fun ends, walk her home while eating some cotton candy and talking about music, take her to the door and after some rushed thoughts steal a kiss from her lips.

But, now I just want to kiss her and love her like she deserves and isn't getting. And I'll get her away from L.A. and all the people ruining her mental state. Maybe start a new band with her that's low pressure and fun, where she'll be able to shine creatively. Grow old together and maybe have some kids if she wants. And live happily ever after.
