>>75094178
Holy fuck OP I've been looking for this album for a long time, could only barely remember what the cover looked like.
Definitely this.
Its unique R&B sound and the way it pushed homosexuality into mainstream music will be remembered as groundbreaking in 10 years.
>>75096509

True.
>>75094195
Also true. This will be regarded as the best Radiohead album.
>>75100888
It's a good album. But I feel like King Gizzard will release something better eventually.
>>75094178 (OP)
Deliverance is so underrated. Really glad to see it here.

Even if it's mostly considered one in Japan I'm sure people will be talking about this for ages to come.

I mean i more meant it should get more exposure
all publicity is good publicity
>>75094178
None of the pics in this thread will be remembered by anyone outside of /mu/ or people who really like music. Here's a better answer
>>75102209
If you don't think Bowie and Death Grips will be remembered you are confused.
>>75099688
i dont wanna burst your bubble but homosexuality has been mainstream long before this album

hi Accel
>>75107278
it's a cool set of albums, he's just got to do something different now or else it will taint anything good that he's achieved so far. If he does another 26 track album like the others then these 4 albums will automatically become worse
>>75107278
5 min into Phonemenomicon and assuming the rest of the album is as consistent, im having a hard time believing one guy made all of this. Incredible work ethic.
>>75099688
this isn't blonde.
>>75107657
if you like that he has literally 3 other albums that are the exact same length and the exact same thing
take it as you will

There's four albums like this.
>>75106892
this line introduced me to my new favorite band

in 10-20 years I imagine this will be remembered among Boris fans as fondly as the albums that are currently 10-20 years old.

>>75096509
Go back to Tumblr, you faggot
>>75110705
obscure imageboards are EXACTLY where the marketing for obscure bands happens nowdays
>>75110705
No, this was an album never discussed on /mu/ or that had any visibility in any scene. An attempt to sell some music was made with this thread, by implying that it is a hidden gem that will be found and widely adored in the not too distant future.
Furthermore a quick google search says they're a "dubstep" act so...LMAO
>>75110802
>I don't like it so it must be shilling
>>75110824
nice try, shill
>>75110626
>Being paid
The people in OP's band asked their friends nicely to reply to their thread. The Bateman picture shows that one of their friends browses /tv/ or /b/.
>>75110824
I'm not even saying it's bad, just obvious shilling since the opinion stated in the original post is a silly one.
Getting buttblasted greentext replies is also a good indicator of shills btw. A classic case of
>Wow you're dumb it would be ludicrous to think people would promote music on a music discussion board
>>75095709
THIS is the only correct answer in this thread

>>75110845

I hope you enjoyed your bumps you ungrateful shills

yup...
On a personal level, I would like to think in twenty years I will have children, or at least be in close relationship with members of the next generation. I would absolutely present these albums to members of cultures and generations (before and after mine own) distinct from mine. They are exemplary cultural products that would illuminate the development of my idealogical and artistic interests.
It's a cool metric for determining classic albums to ask yourself if you would pass down a record to youngbloods- My parents passed on CDs and Vinyl that might not have dominated the musical landscape of their generation, but they were albums they discovered and clung to in their formative years. I was provided a deeper understanding of history through the art they loved. Regardless of the tangible stylistic impacts or popularity of these hand-me-downs, I've been able to see both how much and how little "progress" has been made with the album format.
>>75094178
At least it should be.
>>75094178
>>75108221
he's saying that stockhausen is a definitive example of amazing work ethic
i don't see how it's particularly relevant besides him trying to prove how knowledgeable he is based on the tone of that post

These are correct

>>75110626
>>75110802
>>75110893
wow, you can't even share an obscure album here nowadays without being accused of shilling for it. way to completely shit on underappreciated artists and albums tat deserve a lot better dude, real classy
if you're bitter about something in your personal life, why not just see a therapist instead of unleashing your inner frustration on /mu/?
