Those are some of my favourite bands, but I'm thinking more along the lines of something like Bjork with BM-influenced production
The thing about pop music, especially in the modern music world is that its complete garbage that doesnt take any risks. So its the same stale shit it always is until some thing slips through the cracks. And pop music is the kirby of the music world, it swallows whatever is popular, imitates it, waters it down, and ruins it.
Like how every pop star is le serious deep thinker distorted r&b now because of the weekend.
Pop music itself has always, always avoided absorbing any of the more harsh metal and punk subgeneres.
The only thing i can think of is shit like evanescence and baby metal.
and evanesene was when music wasnt so hardcore niggerfied and babymetal could only do it because the japs are crazy and their pop music isnt complete nigger noise.
Really i think pop should experiment, there should be black pop, death pop, thrash pop, etc. Or grind pop, power violence pop.
