do people really listen to playlists?Whats the point
Why not listen to albums
>>75091570
>why not listen to albums
When you're underage and have ADHD its hard to listen to anything other than compilations of chart toppers and singles. You need to have an attention span to be able to appreciate the structure of an album, or the way songs compliment one another to form and ebb and flow.
My Spotify is tied to my FB i'm not gonna link my rl name on 4chan.
>>75091570
because there is a lot of music out there where releases consist like 95% of singles or EPs, like dance music
because we only care about our own playlist... we want you to listen our playlists and discoveries but we don't care about yours...
>>75090877
i dont want to show my spotify name

kek. Most of you are mouth breathers, deal with it

Playlist are a good way to collect songs with certain moods to them. Albums might(/should) vary in songs but sometimes you're not looking for an active listening experience. Eg. playlists for sleeping or working out.
Also, if you have friends it's nice to have pre-gaming or party playlists instead of sperging out and playing entire albums.
>>75090877
Playlists are for fucking plebs. Listen to full albums.
>>75092124
I just add full albums to my playlist. Pre-made playlists are shit though.
>>75092070
>but sometimes you're not looking for an active listening experience
I think we can all see how well that has worked out for music in general over the years.
>>75090877
Because Spotify is literally dogshit. Use Apple Music, has a larger library and you can discover new music easily
>>75090896
Exactly, AM is far better
>>75092577
I'm not sure what you mean, could you elaborate?
because i don't make playlists I just save all the good shit in my library and that's it
Digital music downloaded > CD > Vinyl > Streaming > radio
For streaming tidal > spotify > am
Playlists are cringy unless >>75091370

Yes because we only watch foreign art movies about the world of clay pottery as well. No one ever likes to chill out with a romcom flick.
I have a huge funk playlist. While great for partying or riding your bike or whatever no one would argue that it warrants active listening and appreciation.
